Chocolate Trifle

Chocolate Mousse Trifle

So easy to make and always a crowd pleaser

1 chocolate cake mix in two layers (bake as directed)
2 chocolate jello puddings (make as directed or buy already made pudding (you need about 6 of the small ones)
cool whip
In glass bowl layer cake, then pudding, then cool whip two or three times
Can break up heath bars (or whatever you want)
and mix in pudding and/or cool whip.
Chocolate shavings on top or chocolate sprinkles look good but not necessary.
Cake does not have to be even or stay together.
Serve with a big spoon or dish out.

Feel free to substitute a different kind of pudding, chocolate mix or cool whip. You can change the entire thing up by using Oreo cookies or angel food cake, strawberries and cool whip. So many options, all delicious.

I made this for a 4th grade how-to project after visiting my Grandma in New York. It was just as easy to make twenty years later and just as delicious.
